P3O bridges the gap between strategy/policy makers and the project delivery arm of the organisation and Implementing P3O can greatly increase the project management effectiveness of the organisation.
P3O is comprised of two main certification levels; Foundation and Practitioner. You must pass the Foundation exam before sitting the Practitioner exam.
Management of Portfolios (MoP®) Public Training
Portfolio management is defined as a coordinated collection of strategic processes and decisions that together enable the most effective balance of organisational change and business as usual.
Management of Portfolios (MoP) approaches the management of change projects and programmes from a strategic viewpoint. It provides an overview of all change activities including what is in the portfolio, what it is costing, what risks are faced, what progress is being made, and what the impact is on business as usual and the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Portfolio Management includes ensuring the organisation invests (and continues to invest) in the ‘right’ initiatives and delivers them the ‘right’ way. This focuses on delivery at a collective level in the wider interests of the portfolio and encompasses not just completion on time and to budget, but also in terms of benefits realization.
MoP is comprised of two main certification levels; Foundation and Practitioner. You must pass the Foundation exam before sitting the Practitioner exam.
